Power has been restored to most county residents after a series of strong storms rolled into the county last night.
At one point, there were over 300 homes in the county without power this morning—however most power was restored by 9 a.m.
The strong storms began just before 9 p.m. last night, with winds that left debris scattered on roadways this morning.
Also, around 9 p.m. last night, the Butler County 911 Center put the Butler Township and Saxonburg Fire Departments on standby after a funnel cloud was believed to be spotted near Old Plank Road.
However, no tornado watch or warning was ever issue
