Strong winds and storms moved into the area early this afternoon, which has led to power outages across the county.
Over 100 homes are without power according to First Energy. More than 70 of those outages are in the South Hills neighborhood in Butler.
A tree fell on West Patterson Street, knocking down wires and leading to the outage.
There are also outages in Fairview Township according to Central Electric Cooperative.
Passing storms are expected throughout the afternoon along with wind gusts potentially reaching 40 miles per hour.
