Several hundred Grove City College students participated in commencement exercises earlier this weekend, which featured a U.S. Senator as the keynote speaker.
During Saturday’s ceremony, 511 undergraduate students were honored by the institution. Nebraska Senator Ben Sasse, who was the keynote speaker, discussed the crisis of loneliness. He stressed to the graduating class that faith is the ultimate answer and the ultimate source of happiness. Sasse also received an honorary doctorate degree from the college.
Approximately forty-one percent of Grove City’s seniors graduated with honors.
