September is suicide awareness month and a local group will be holding a gathering later this week to remember the lives lost to suicide.
On Wednesday evening at Diamond Park, the Butler County Suicide Coalition will be holding a remembrance rally to support members of the community who have been affected by suicide.
It begins at 5 p.m. and the group says registration is not required by recommended. To register, email youmatterbutler@gmail.com or call 724-284-5114.
The Butler County Suicide Coalition meets every first Wednesday of each month, but is currently hosting virtual sessions due to COVID.
