Applications for a summer food program for children has been reopened.
The SUN Bucks Summer Food Program provides additional funds to families whose children would otherwise miss school meals during the summer. For each child that is eligible families will receive $120 similar to a SNAP benefit.
The application will be open until August 31st but families that already have SNAP benefits, are on Medicaid, or if their children were eligible for free or reduced priced lunches are already eligible.
