The Pittsburgh Penguins were victorious 3-2 on home ice against the Toronto Maple Leafs last night. They head to Nashville to face off against the Predators this coming Tuesday.
The Pittsburgh Steelers visit the Cincinnati Bengals today for a 1pm kick-off. WISR will join the pre-game following the noon news.
College Football:
In a game heard on The Rock Station 97.7 yesterday, Slippery Rock defeated Tiffin 45-35 in the NCAA playoffs. They will now host Kutztown Dec. 2 in the NCAA Quarterfinals.
The Pitt Panthers closed their season on the road yesterday falling to Duke 30-19.
Grove City College ended their season yesterday with a 25-24 loss to Cortland. The Grove had previously been undefeated this season with their first-ever NCAA playoff win against Susquehanna last weekend.
