The North Catholic girls were defeated by Wyomissing in the Class 4A Western Region quarterfinals yesterday afternoon 61-46. Last year, the same teams played in the same gym in the quarterfinals and North Catholic dealt a blowout loss to Wyomissing.
Franklin defeated Deer Lakes 83-66 in a boys Class 3A quarterfinal game.
Redbank Valley was defeated by Aliquippa yesterday 68-44 in the 2A quarterfinals.
