The Penguins fell to the Maple Leafs 4-2 last night in in Toronto. They are now 1-2 this season. They stay up north visiting Montreal Monday, before returning to Pittsburgh to host Buffalo Wednesday.
In college football play, Slippery Rock defeated Gannon 35-17 in their homecoming game yesterday. It was homecoming at Grove City College yesterday, too, where the Wolverines defeated CMU 17-10. The Pitt Panthers defeated California 17-15. Penn State defeated USC 33-30.
The Pittsburgh Steelers visit the Las Vegas Raiders this Sunday afternoon. Kick-off is 4:05pm. Pre-game on WISR begins at 2:05pm. The 3-2 Steelers remain three point favorites over the 2-3 Raiders.
Nascar will race the Charlotte “Roval” this Sunday, the hybrid track in North Carolina. Hear the race beginning at 1pm on WBUT. Four of the 12 playoff drivers will be eliminated following the race.
