The Pennsylvania Supreme Court has decided it will not make a ruling on two issues for mail-in ballots.
The issue of dating requirements for mail in votes and ending county policies that notify voters of errors and the option to fix those errors will not be addressed before November’s election.
However, the court may still rule on two other cases on the election law.
The first stems from Butler County about whether voters can cast provisional ballots if they make a mistake on their mail-in ballot. The second in Washington County asks if the county is obligated to inform a voter if their ballot is going to be rejected.
