Susan (Thorhauer) Heckert

Susan (Thorhauer) Heckert, 69 of Pittsburgh passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024. She was born in Pittsburgh on April 23, 1954 to the late William and Monica (Reardon) Throhauer. Susan was known for being the pillar of the family, being a great mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She enjoyed going on cruises and reading. Susan was the mother of Jennifer (Sean) Porter, John (Marsha) Blum, Matthew Blum, and Philip Blum; sister of Katherine Hergenreder; grandmother of 17; great grandmother of 7 and 1 on the way. The family would like to give a special thank you to her nephew Harry (Leeana) Hergenreder and great niece Luna Hergenreder for going above and beyond while taking care of her.
