A man accused of murder in Chicago, Illinois was recently apprehended in nearby New Castle.
According to our news partners at WPXI, Jaylen Saulsberry was recently wanted for an attempted carjacking that resulted in the murder of a retired Chicago fireman. Authorities also say Saulsberry was wanted on a second warrant for a separate carjacking and shooting.
Officials say that the FBI contacted the New Castle Police Department last week regarding the possibility that Saulsberry was in the city. On December 30th, local police as well as a SWAT team and FBI agents found Saulsberry at a Bell Avenue residence.
Saulsberry was later taken to the Lawrence County Jail.
