UPDATE (9:15 a.m.):
The man police had been looking for following an escape from an Armstrong County hospital early this morning has been taken into custody.
Alan-Michael Taylor, 23, walked out of Armstrong County Memorial Hospital about 4 a.m. He was being treated at the hospital but still in custody following a PFA violation.
After leaving the hospital, he allegedly stole a pickup truck from a nearby construction site.
All Butler County police departments were alerted of Taylor’s escape.
He was taken into custody in Vandergrift, where he is from.
