The Seneca Valley School Board president is coming under fire after some parents took issue with a post he made on social media.
According to our news partners at WPXI, Eric DiTullio allegedly shared a meme on his personal Facebook page mocking actor Matthew McConaughey’s recent appearance at the White House calling for gun legislation after the mass shooting in Uvalde, Texas.
Some parents are calling on DiTullio to resign, believing elected school officials should be held to a higher standard.
DiTullio told WPXI that he has since deleted the post and apologized if this shed the district in a negative light.
Seneca Valley officials have not issued a comment on the situation.
