Repairs have been completed to the swinging bridge in the City’s Island neighborhood.
Following a couple of incidents of vandalism last week, the bridge had to be taped off.
Several planks on the bridge were broken, but the metal structure itself is sound and was not damaged.
According to Butler City Mayor Bob Dandoy, the City will pay Thrower Construction nearly $4,600 to make the repairs.
