A local park will host a colorful kayaking session later this week.
Moraine State Park and the Park Naturalist are welcoming attendees to learn more about why plants change colors during a Fall Foliage Float.
Thursday’s event will run from 1 until 3:30 p.m. at McDanel’s Launch on the North Shore. Participants should be at least 12 years old and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Kayak and gear will be provided, but participants can also bring their own. Life jackets and registration are required.
