A local historian will tell the story behind how one of Butler County’s largest parks got its start.
Bill May is presenting “Alameda Park: Butler’s Disneyland” Thursday evening at the First Responders Pavilion.
May will tell the story of how Alameda Park came to be, along with the different rides and activities that the park hosted through the years.
The event is free to the public and starts at 6:30 p.m.
May says there will be seating at picnic tables, but also encourages people to bring a lawn chair.
