The public is invited to attend an event this weekend featuring great food, lots of classic tunes and a great time.
Pure Gold will be playing the Valentine’s Weekend Dinner Dance at Tanglewood Entertainment Center in Lyndora on Sat., Feb. 10. Doors open at 6pm with dinner at 7pm and the show begins at 8. This is a BYOB event that will also include a 50/50 drawing.
“Our whole goal is for people to have a good time and feel like they’re 16. It’s just wonderful to see people up and dancing,” Pure Gold singer Susan DeLuca said.
According to organizer Bill Reichert, through the years Pure Gold has opened for over 100 major recording acts like Chuck Berry and for enthusiastic crowds at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Their reach extended even further on television.
“Pure Gold is not just some local Pittsburgh group, especially when you look at how they’ve interacted over the last 40 years in the entertainment business,” Reichert said. “They performed on PBS for over 30 million people.”
Seating is limited and reservations are required. The cost to attend this event is $35 per person which includes dinner. Call 724-287-0021 for more information.
