A crash earlier this week in Butler Township led to injury and charges for a local teen.
According to Butler Township police, 18-year-old Lucas McConnell of Butler was driving northbound on South Eberhart Road near the intersection with New Castle Road at a high rate of speed shortly before 9 p.m. on Monday.
McConnell allegedly lost control and hit an embankment. His vehicle then rolled over several times. He was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. A 17-year-old passenger in his vehicle was not injured.
McConnell has been charged with failure to drive at a safe speed as well as reckless driving.
