A teenager was seriously injured while driving a side-by-side over the weekend in Concord Township.
The accident happened Saturday afternoon around 1:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Old State Road.
Police say the unnamed 16-year-old girl from Harrisville was driving the side-by-side vehicle when she was driving too fast while making a turn. The vehicle then when off the road, hit an embankment, and rolled over onto the driver’s side.
The 16-year-old suffered serious injuries and was flown to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. A 17-year-old passenger was not injured.
There’s no word on the girl’s current condition.
