PennDOT is announcing a roadway width reduction as part of the Freedom Road expansion project in Cranberry Township.
Effective Monday, Freedom Road will be reduced to a width of 11 feet between Powell Road and Haine School Road.
Vehicles over 11 feet wide must use other routes as crews will be placing temporary barriers for traffic control until Halloween.
The $18 million Freedom Road expansion project includes new highway and turning lanes, along with signal upgrades and safety improvements with an estimated date of completion in November
