The Slippery Rock University football team has moved back up to #10 in the latest American Football Coaches Association rankings this week, following their 49-0 victory over Millersville Saturday. The Rock will visit Seton Hill this Saturday afternoon to begin play in the PSAC-West. Through three weeks of the season, The Rock leads the nation in scoring offense, passing offense, and have not turned the ball over. Rock quarterback Roland Rivers III leads the nation in four offense categories. He has thrown 16 touchdowns and does not have an interception through three games.
IUP moved up three spots to #21 this week. West Chester moved up two spots to #16.
Pitt quarterback Kenny Pickett has been named the ACC quarterback of the week after throwing for 224 yards and rushing for another 61 yards in Pitt’s upset of Central Florida.
The Butler County Community College Women’s Volleyball team swept CCAC 3-0 last night to improve to 6-0 in conference play. The Lady Pioneers are 9-2 overall. Morgan Malinski had 23 assists to lead BC3. Kaylee Ebbert had eight kills and Maddy McAnich had 25 digs.
