Thelma E. (Pat) Hodges, 89, of Butler, PA passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Sunnyview Rehabilitation and Nursing Home.
She was born November 18, 1934, in Oil City, PA, to Thomas Arnold Aikins and Helen Marie (Riley) Aikins-Zeigler.
Thelma was a homemaker. She was also a life member of the East Butler Fire Hall. Thelma enjoyed spending time with her family and looking after her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Howard (Fran) Eppinger, Jr; her two daughters, Rita Ann (Richard) Stone of Butler, PA, and Patricia (Douglas) Fleeger of Butler, PA; her eight grandchildren; her eleven great-grandchildren; her four great-great-grandchildren; her brother, Raymond Aikins of Franklin, PA; her two half-sisters, Janet (Don) Osborne, of Franklin, PA, and Gloria Prindle, of Oil City, PA; as well as by numerous nieces and nephew.
In addition to her parents, Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Hodges; her son, Thomas Eppinger; and four siblings.
Friends and family will be received on Sunday, January 28, 2024, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, PA 16001.
A Funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, January 29, 2024, at 11:00am, with Pastor Bob Edmundson officiating.
Private burial will take place at Rose Hill Cemetery.
