Thomas “Berky” Bergbigler Sr.

Thomas “Berky” Bergbigler Sr., 76, of Lyndora passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. He was born in Butler on October 2, 1948, to the late Grace (Osche) Bergbigler. Thomas honorably served in the USMC from 1968 to 1970. He retired from the meat department at Friedmans Supermarket after 30 years. Thomas loved to go camping and was an avid hunter. He was a member of the American Legion Post 117, Butler Mosse Lodge 64, the VFW of Ridgeway, and the Veterans Club of Marienville, PA. Thomas was the beloved partner of Mary Plunkard, for over 30 years; father of Aaron (Sarah) and Shellie Bergbigler; brother of Robert Osche; grandfather of 8; great grandfather of 2. Along with his mother, Thomas was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Bergbigler Jr., and his brother, Jeffrey Bergbigler. All services were held privately through SPENCER D.
