Thomas Richard McLaughlin

Thomas Richard McLaughlin, 86, of Butler passed away on Friday, September 8, 2023. He was born in Butler on November 29, 1936 to the late Joseph and Martha (Huff) McLaughlin. Thomas served his country honorably in the US Navy from 1955 to 1957, then he was in the reserves until June of 1963. He then went on to work at Pullman Standard for a number of years. Thomas loved to golf and bowl in his spare time. He was a member of the Italian Society of Butler, Moose Club, and American Legion Post 117. Thomas was the brother of Karen McLaughlin, Pat Sutton, Daniel McLaughlin, and Joe (Dolores) McLaughlin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley McLaughlin, stepson Tom Burnatoski, siblings Joanne Morrow and Eugene McLaughlin.
