Pennsylvanians who applied for the state’s Property Tax/Rent rebate will soon start to see returns in the next month.
Payments will begin to go out on July 1 but you can check to see what your rebate will be before it comes out. By going to mypath.pa.gov you can look up your rebate with your social security number, claim year, and date of birth.
To be eligible you have to be 65 and older, widows and widowers 50 and older, and people with disabilities 18 and older with income limit under $45,000 a year.
Last year Governor Josh Shapiro and the legislative branch raised the maximum rebate to $650 and $950 for some home owners.
The deadline to able for next year’s rebate is December 31, 2024.
