Three people were taken to the hospital Sunday after an accident in Franklin Township.
State police say 79-year-old Terry Dumbaugh of Slippery Rock was driving northbound on Country Club Road around 3:45 p.m. when he approached the intersection with Unionville Road.
Dumbaugh did not realize he had a stop sign and went through the intersection, colliding into a vehicle driven by 26-year-old Nathan Stiefel of Cranberry.
Dumbaugh was taken to the hospital along with his passenger 77-year-old Sandra Wakefield of Slippery Rock. Stiefel’s passenger 25-year-old Jocelyn Elliot of Butler was also taken to the hospital.
