There were 34 new cases of COVID-19 and one additional death for Butler County Thursday.
That now brings the death toll in the county to 402 since the beginning of the pandemic.
Butler Health System did report a significant decline in hospitalizations though on Wednesday. They were treating 12 patients for the coronavirus, with three COVID patients in the ICU. Going back to Monday, BMH was treating 24 patients.
Statewide hospitalizations have remained somewhat stable, if not a slight decline. As of this report, just over 2,800 are being treated for the coronavirus in hospitals across Pennsylvania.
There were also 4,192 new cases and 52 additional deaths in Pennsylvania according to the state Department of Health.
