There were five new cases of COVID-19 and no additional deaths for Butler County Thursday.
According to our reporting, this is the first time the number of new COVID cases has been under 10 since early October.
However, local hospitalizations have remained fairly stable. As of Wednesday morning Butler Memorial Hospital was treating seven patients for the coronavirus, with one COVID patient in the ICU.
Statewide, the Department of Health data shows there were no newly reported deaths today. There were 656 new cases and hospitalizations also fell to 900 total.
