There were 93 new cases of COVID-19 for Butler County Thursday.
That comes with 288 negative tests, giving the daily report a 24.4 percent positivity rate.
According to the state Department of Health, there have now been 40 deaths attributed to COVID-19 for Butler County since the beginning of the pandemic.
Butler Memorial Hospital reported three deaths to the state since Monday, including two yesterday.
As of Wednesday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating 25 patients for the coronavirus, with five people in the ICU.
Overall the state added 5,488 cases today, again setting a record high. There was an additional 49 deaths, bringing the state’s death toll to 9,194.
