There were two new cases of COVID-19 and no additional deaths reported by the state for Butler County on Thursday.
This now marks more than a week of daily reports of new cases in single digits.
According to the Butler Health System, as of Thursday afternoon there are no patients receiving treatment for COVID-19 at Butler Memorial Hospital. However, BHS did report one death from COVID to the state on Wednesday, June 16th as well as another on Sunday, June 20th.
Statewide, there were 221 new cases, which is slightly above the average number of cases so far this week in Pennsylvania. There were also 15 additional deaths.
Hospitalizations in Pennsylvania are continuing to go down with 380 people receiving treatment.
