A challenger to Representative Daryl Metcalfe in this year’s Republican primary is attempting a write-in campaign for the general election.
Scott Timko announced on Facebook this week that he is launching a write-in campaign in the 12th District.
Timko lost to Metcalfe in the primary by a nearly 40 point margin.
Metcalfe is seeking his 11th term in the state house. His Democratic challenger is Daniel Smith Jr., who is running against Metcalfe for the second consecutive election.
