With many residents engaged in spring cleaning, a local organization is holding a tire collection this weekend.
The tire recycling day will be held at the Forward Township Municipal Building on Ash Stop Road this Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Tires from passenger vehicles to tractor trailers will be accepted, but no farm tractor tires will be taken. Cash collection fees are $3 to $40.
This collection is open to any resident but there is a limit of 20 tires per person and no tires will be accepted from businesses.
