Fall enrollment numbers at Slippery Rock University have declined but also include a record number of graduate students.
Between graduate and undergraduate students, SRU has 8,424 students enrolled this year. That number is a decrease of about 5% in total enrollment compared to last year.
However, over 1,500 graduate students are enrolled at SRU. Also retention of first year students is strong and a large number of students have returned to SRU after previously pausing their education.
SRU is inviting the campus community to meet candidates for the open position of chief diversity officer during a series of open sessions that begin today from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Smith Student Center. These sessions will continue September 21st, 28th, and 30th.
