Two people were taken to the hospital after a tractor trailer and passenger vehicle collided this morning in Clearfield Township.
It happened just before 11 a.m. at the intersection of East Route 422 and Clearfield Road.
Details of the crash are unclear, but dispatchers say the passenger vehicle caught on fire and became fully involved. It eventually subsided by the time crews arrived.
A 76-year-old driver of the vehicle and a 71-year-old both had to be taken to the hospital after the accident. First responders say they were both alert and conscious.
Traffic was delayed until crews could clear the scene.
