With Santa set to bring presents for the kids this weekend, he’ll most likely be placing them under fake trees.
According to a new study by the American Christmas Tree Association, 77 percent of those who are putting up a Christmas tree this year are using an artificial one.
The trend toward having a fake tree has been growing over the last 30 years, spiking in 2021.
Christmas tree farmers are still fairly abundant in the U.S. with a recent study saying that there are around 15,000 tree farmers.
