A regional organization is giving out up to ten $1,000 awards to health care workers currently enrolled in health care training.
Applicants for the Tri-County Health Care Industry Partnership must be enrolled in BSN, RN and LPN programs as well as be employed in a health-related position.
Applicants must work or live in Armstrong, Butler, or Indiana County and submit an essay about their motivation to obtain further education.
The Tri-County Workforce Investment Board is also offering three $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors who are entering an IT or technology education program.
