A portion of Main Street in Zelienople was closed for more than six hours on Tuesday after a tanker truck crashed while the driver was trying to make a turn.
The incident happened about 8:30 a.m. The truck driver appeared to be making a right turn onto Main Street from New Castle Street and cut it too short- bringing down poles and wires.
One of the poles ended up detached and lying on top of the truck. PennDOT and West Penn Power had to be brought in to do repairs.
A portion of Main Street didn’t reopen until about 3:30 p.m.
