Motorists in the Grove City area were forced to detour around a truck stuck under a bridge earlier this week in neighboring Mercer County.
According to Grove City Police, the incident occurred around noon on Monday on Harvard Street.
A garbage truck operated by a 42-year-old Venango County man struck a steel I-beam and became stuck as the height was greater than what was permitted for the roadway.
The street was only reopened after the structural safety of the bridge was confirmed.
