–Butler defeated Pine-Richland 195-206 Monday at Slippery Rock Golf Club. Ryan Porch led the Golden Tornado with a 35. Wyatt Kos and Hunter Swidzinski added 39’s.
Girls Soccer:
–Mars-5 Hampton-1. Piper Coffield led the Planets with three goals.
Girls Volleyball:
–Butler opened their season with a 3-0 victory over Erie Cathedral Prep.

The Mohawk high school football team will remain inactive for another week as a hazing incident investigation continues. Mohawk’s game with Quaker Valley scheduled for this Friday has been canceled.
