There were 101 new cases of COVID-19 for Butler County on Tuesday.
That comes with 162 negative tests, giving the report a 38.4 percent positivity rate.
Hospitalizations are continuing to increase at Butler Memorial Hospital. As of Monday morning, they were treating 26 patients for the coronavirus, with four people in the ICU. They also reported four additional deaths over the weekend.
According to the Department of Health, there have been 35 deaths attributed to COVID-19 in Butler County.
Butler Health System officials are also warning that the area is seeing its highest incidence of the coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic, and that the virus is spreading in our community.
Overall, the state added 4,361 new cases, 62 additional deaths, and around 15,000 negative tests. Again, today was another record-setting day for cases in Pennsylvania.
