Two people are behind bars following a drug bust in the South Side of Butler.
Police executed a search warrant for a home in the 100 block of South Street shortly before 6 p.m. Monday.
When detectives arrived, they found 49-year-old Demond Cash and 47-year-old Tamela Stevens both of Butler leaving the house and getting into their car.
Police stopped the car and found over $2,200 cash and cell phones in their possession.
Detectives then searched the home and found over 100 stamp bags of heroin/fentanyl along with crack cocaine and other drugs. Police also discovered drug paraphernalia.
Both Stevens and Cash were placed in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bond.
