Two players from the Butler County Community College women’s volleyball team have been named All-Americans. It is the first time in school history two teammates have been named in the same season. Breanna Reisinger and Morgan Jack helped lead the Lady Pioneers to conference, regional and district titles this season, and BC3 made its first national championship appearance in more than a decade. Reisinger is a graduate of Lincoln high school in Ellwood City and was named a first-team All-American. She had 205 kills during the season. Jack is a Knoch graduate and had 635 assists in becoming an All-American honorable mention. BC3 went 18-3 this season.
The Pitt women’s volleyball team will host Kansas in an NCAA Tournament Sweet Sixteen matchup today at Fitzgerald Field House. The match begins at 1pm and will be televised on ESPN-Plus. The Panthers are 28-3 this season. Kansas is 18-11.
