The incident happened back on May 6th on McCommons Lane. Police say two men had stopped by the victim’s home to ask her to sign a gun rights petition.
After the women declined the two men left. They came back to the house later claiming their car broke down and asked to use a cell phone to call for help. The victim then got a call that a tow truck driver was on the way.
Sometime after that two men broke into the home and tied the victim up and demanded $40,000 threating the victim’s life. The two alleged men in the robbery are 53-year-old Herbert Zellefrow and 28-year-old Damean Felmlee.
Police were able to connect phone records, match vehicles from surveillance video, and witness statements, according to charging documents.
