Two motorists were injured following a one car crash that occurred late last week in Chicora.
According to State Police, 29-year-old Destiny Gray of Gibsonia was traveling on West Slippery Rock Street around 4:30pm on Friday (April 29th) when she crossed a set of train tracks at a high rate of speed.
Authorities say that Gray’s minivan then went airborne before returning to the roadway. Police say that the vehicle then struck a home before rolling over and coming to a final rest against a pole.
Officials say that Gray, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment of unknown injuries. An eight-year-old passenger, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was flown to Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh for treatment of serious injuries. Three other passengers refused medical treatment.
Police plan to cite Gray with a traffic violation.
