Two people were taken to the hospital after a crash Sunday morning on I-79.
The accident happened around 11:45 a.m. in the southbound lane about two miles south of the Slippery Rock exit in Worth Township.
Police say 66-year-old Karen McKee of Pittsburgh suffered a medical situation while driving her car, which caused her to drift into the median. She then overcompensated to turn back onto the highway and hit a guardrail.
McKee suffered a broken leg and 32-year-old Miles Neetles of Georgia, who was in the back seat, broke his ankle. A third woman, 32-year-old Jennifer McKee of Georgia was not injured.
The vehicle was towed from the scene.
