Police have charged a Romanian man in connection with a theft that happened in two different locations late last week.
The alleged theft happened last Friday at the CVS in Mars. Police say two unidentified women went into the CVS with tote bags and stole over $2,700 worth of Maybelline products.
Police also say the women allegedly stole from a CVS in Wexford earlier in that day as well. After the two women left the Mars store police were able to track down the vehicle the women left in.
Police spotted the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. When police pulled the vehicle over, they found 21-year-old Vasile Ionita driving the vehicle. He was arrested, however neither of the women were inside the car.
Ionita has been charged with retail theft, theft by unlawful taking, and corruption of minors. He is being held in the Butler County Prison on a $150,000 bail.
