Tyler Reddick passed reigning Cup Series champion Ryan Blaney on the final turn of their Nascar race at Miami-Homestead Speedway Sunday afternoon, and locked himself into the four-driver championship field for the final race of the season at Phoenix in two weeks. He joins Joey Logano, who won last week’s race at Las Vegas.
The final two championship spots will be filled this Sunday at Martinsville Speedway. Hear the Cup Series race on WBUT beginning at 1pm.
Currently, Christopher Bell is 29 points above the playoff cut line. William Byron is seven points ahead of Kyle Larson for the fourth and final championship spot. Denny Hamlin is chasing 18 points. Blaney and Chase Elliott will need victories this Sunday to reach the championship.
