U.S. Steel officials say they are reviewing multiple offers as they continue to weigh options about selling the company.
The Pittsburgh-based steelmaker rejected a $7.3 billion offer from Cleveland Cliffs earlier this month.
Soon, another $7.8 billion offer came from Esmark following the Cleveland Cliffs bid.
Since that time, U.S. Steel said in a memo to shareholders that they have entered into confidentiality agreements with third parties and are beginning to share information with possible buyers.
Cleveland Cliffs leaders argue that they have the right to know who is making these other offers.
