We’re into the second week of the state’s new unemployment compensation system, and leaders say some of the issues have now been fixed.
The Department of Labor says there were problems with people logging into the system, but that was corrected over the weekend.
However, Acting Secretary of Labor Jennifer Berrier says they’re still working through other problems.
“We are continuing to provide updates on the new unemployment compensation system, including issues that we’re working on as well as a link to frequently asked questions on our UC system check enhancement tracker,” Berrier said. “We encourage individuals who believe they are encountering issues to check this out.”
Over 168,000 people have registered for unemployment compensation since last week’s launch.
