Butler County unemployment numbers continue to fall well-below the statewide average.
The latest numbers from the Department of Labor show that Butler County has an unemployment rate of 2.4 percent.
That works out to just over 96,000 county residents who are in the workforce.
That sits a full percent below the state number, which is 3.4 percent. It also marks the fifth-straight month where the unemployment rate in Pennsylvania sits at 3.4 percent.
Both numbers continue to show a strong workforce across the state.
